Dubai: Emirates has officially commenced daily A350 flights between Dubai and Muscat, expanding its next-generation fleet’s network and providing travellers with enhanced comfort and connectivity. Originally scheduled for July 1, the launch was moved forward by a week due to strong travel demand.

Operating as flight EK 866, the service departs Dubai at 2:15 am, arriving in Muscat at 3:30 am. The return leg, EK 867, leaves Muscat at 4:40 am and lands in Dubai at 5:55 am, ensuring smooth onward connections to Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.

The new A350 offers 312 seats across three classes: 32 lie-flat Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 Economy seats — all within a cabin designed for higher ceilings, wider aisles, upgraded mood lighting, and Emirates’ latest in-flight entertainment system. Passengers can also enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi and improved seating comfort.

Muscat joins a growing list of destinations now served by the A350, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Amman, Edinburgh, Mumbai, Tunis, Colombo, and Ahmedabad. Emirates currently operates seven A350s and aims to expand its A350 network to 17 destinations by year-end.

To cater to peak summer travel demand, Emirates has also added two extra weekly flights on Thursdays and Saturdays between Dubai and Muscat. Travellers can book through emirates.com, the Emirates App, call centers, retail outlets, or via travel agents.
