Sharjah’s ‘Summer with Us’ Program to Empower Over 700 Girls

Sharjah: Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, part of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, will launch its ‘Summer with Us’ program from July 5 to August 2, 2025, aiming to inspire and empower more than 700 girls from cities and towns across the emirate.

The program offers a rich blend of entertainment and education through specialized tracks covering arts, sports, technology, cooking, life skills, and entrepreneurship. Participants will engage in workshops, sports camps, competitive contests, and practical sessions designed to develop leadership and personal growth.

The initiative will run at Sajaya centers in Sharjah city, Kalba, Khorfakkan, Al Dhaid, Mleiha, Al Kharous, Al Madam, and Al Thamid, ensuring broad access for girls throughout Sharjah. Activities will be hosted in collaboration with partners like the Sharjah Ladies Club, Children’s Centre in Dibba Al Hisn, and Sharjah Art Foundation studios in Al Hamriyah.

Girls from the ‘Friends of the Police’ program will also participate, gaining leadership and social skills through engaging activities. The program will feature market stalls for participants to showcase and sell their projects, encouraging entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

Strategic partners such as Sharjah Police and the Sharjah Sports Council are backing the initiative, which aims to create an inspiring platform for girls to discover their talents, build confidence, and contribute to a brighter future.
