Egyptian man sentenced to seven years in prison for embezzling KD 29,000

The Egyptian employee has been sentenced to a seven-year imprisonment by the Criminal Court for embezzling KD29,000, which was the value of counterfeit Kuwait Towers tickets. As per the case records, the Kuwait Towers Administration's legal department, in collaboration with the detectives, apprehended the Egyptian employee red-handed. He confessed to producing and selling forged tickets over a span of two years. By infiltrating the database and manipulating the information and dates, he managed to steal approximately KD29,000. During the court proceedings, the accused, accompanied by his defense team, pleaded for his innocence, citing a lack of incriminating evidence and claiming that his confession was coerced.
