Acting Director General of the Environment Public Authority, Engineer Samira Al-Kandari, confirmed that the dead fish that were recently spotted on Shuwaikh Beach is a recurring phenomenon annually at this time of year, noting that the Authority is conducting the necessary analyzes to uncover the causes.
Al-Kandari explained in a statement to KUNA that the Environment Agency held a meeting today, Thursday, with the Agriculture Authority, and it was found that the fish deaths had stopped, while the cleaning of the sea was followed up with the Agriculture Authority and the Kuwait Municipality.
