Grand Hyper Kuwait has marked a significant expansion milestone with the official opening of two new stores—its 47th outlet in Riggae (2) and 48th outlet in Jleeb (2). The openings further strengthen the retail chain’s presence in the Kuwaiti market, reinforcing its commitment to growth and customer service. The Riggae (2) store was inaugurated by Mr. Cherian Cherian, Chairman of Tesla Engineering, in a ceremony attended by Grand Hyper Managing Director Dr. Anwar Amin Chelat and Lamco Engineering Managing Director Mr. Amanulla.
The first sale at the Riggae (2) outlet was conducted by Kuwait Regional Director Mr. Ayub Kachery. Senior management and staff of Grand Hyper were present at the event, including CEO Mr. Muhammad Sunee, DRO Mr. Tehseer Ali, and COO Mr. Muhammad Aslam. The Jleeb (2) store was inaugurated jointly by His Excellency Sheikh Dawood Salman Al Sabah and Grand Hyper Kuwait Chairman Mr. Jassim Muhammad Khamis Al Sharray. The ceremony was also attended by key executives and dignitaries from various sectors.
Prominent figures at the Jleeb (2) launch included Mr. Saad Muhammad Al Hamad, Mr. Muhammad Al Mutairi, CEO of Detroit Mr. Waseem Wahid, and Tesla Engineering Chairman Mr. Cherian Cherian. Grand Hyper Kuwait’s management team, including Regional Director Mr. Ayub Kachery, CEO Mr. Muhammad Sunee, DRO Mr. Tehseer Ali, and COO Mr. Muhammad Aslam, were also present to mark the occasion.
