Dubai: In anticipation of Eid Al-Adha, several airlines have launched mega offers targeting expats planning to travel home. From full-service carriers like Emirates and Etihad to budget airlines such as Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and Air Arabia, most UAE-based airlines are offering highly attractive deals.

One-way ticket fares to India, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Iraq, Kazakhstan, and Qatar start from just AED 299 (approx. ₹6,900). Flights to Iran, Jordan, and Lebanon are available from AED 199. While travel prices usually surge during the Eid holidays, travel agents say these deals are part of airlines' strategies to capture a bigger market share amid intense competition.

Fly Now, Pay Later
Emirates has introduced an appealing “Fly Now, Pay Later” scheme, allowing UAE credit cardholders from selected banks to split ticket payments into three monthly installments at zero profit. EMI options for travel packages are gaining popularity, with agencies offering up to 5-month installments for packages worth AED 2,500 or more, according to Sapna Idasani, Marketing Director at Pluto Travels.

Budget Airline Offers
Air Arabia is offering low fares to destinations including India, Armenia, Egypt, Oman, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey, with one-way flights starting at AED 129. The offer is valid for bookings until June 2 and for travel between June 1 and September 30. Examples include AED 129 to Oman, AED 149 to Bahrain and Kuwait, and AED 149 to Saudi Arabia. FlyDubai is offering return fares starting at AED 965.

Buy One Get One Free
Saudi Arabia’s national airline Saudia has launched a “Buy One Get One Free” offer for round-trip flights in the Guest (Saver) class on select domestic and regional routes.
