Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has officially announced the renaming of the "UAE Exchange Metro Station" to "Life Pharmacy Metro Station." The renaming comes as part of a 10-year sponsorship agreement granted to Life Pharmacy.
The new name will gradually appear across outdoor signboards, digital displays, mobile applications, and metro station notifications starting from May 2025 and will be fully implemented by August 2025. RTA confirmed that the update will be reflected on all signage and digital systems both inside and outside the station.
To ensure a smooth transition for commuters, the RTA will undertake all necessary steps for public awareness. The authority has been actively selling naming rights for metro stations to private enterprises as part of its strategy to boost economic growth.
Earlier, similar renaming initiatives included changing "Mashreq Metro Station" to "Insurance Market Metro Station" and "Al Khail Metro Station" to "Al Fardan Exchange Station."
