Kuwait's General Department of Criminal Investigation has arrested an Egyptian national (identified as A.A.A.A.), a veterinarian employed by an agricultural contracting firm, for posing as a plastic surgeon and practicing cosmetic procedures without a license. The man was found operating out of an unlicensed women’s salon in Sabah Al-Salem, which had been illegally converted into a makeshift cosmetic clinic.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the suspect was caught during a security raid, where he confessed to performing cosmetic injections for up to 50 Kuwaiti dinars without any formal medical license. Authorities also seized unauthorized medical tools, cosmetic products, and a laser device typically used in certified clinics. Three female assistants — one Kenyan and two Egyptian nationals — were also discovered carrying out unlicensed cosmetic treatments.

Investigations further revealed that the salon is owned by S.H.M.S., a woman classified under "Article 8," indicating her Kuwaiti citizenship has been revoked. She reportedly manages a chain of six beauty salons and wellness centers operating illegally as cosmetic clinics. During questioning, she admitted to converting her establishments into unauthorized medical facilities where unqualified staff performed procedures without official oversight.

Additionally, another Egyptian national, B.S.M.B., employed as a pharmacist at the Sabah Al-Salem North Center, was arrested for supplying unlicensed beauty products and medicines to the salons. He was found to be importing medical supplies illegally through a company registered under a fictitious name.

The Ministry emphasized the seriousness of these violations, citing the threat they pose to public health and legal medical practice.
