Kuwaiti meteorologist Issa Ramadan has stated that the intense summer heat currently gripping the country will persist until August 22. Speaking to Al-Qabas, he explained that Kuwait is in the middle of its hottest summer phases, including the periods of "Tali' Al-Mirzam" and "Jamrat Al-Qayz," which typically see the highest annual temperatures. This scorching phase spans from July 20 to August 22 and includes astronomical periods like the Second Gemini, Al-Mirzam, and Al-Kalbain—recognized as the peak of summer across the region. Ramadan added that a gradual drop in temperature is expected after this period, with the appearance of the Suhail star marking the end of summer and the onset of cooler weather.
