Vienna: India’s Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, met with Kuwait’s Minister of Oil and Chairman, Tareq Sulaiman Al-Roumi, on July 9th during the 9th OPEC International Seminar in Vienna.
The two ministers reviewed opportunities to expand the long-standing energy partnership between India and Kuwait. Kuwait is one of India’s major energy partners, ranking as India’s sixth largest crude oil supplier, fourth biggest source of LPG, and eighth largest overall hydrocarbon trade partner.
Both sides emphasized their commitment to further strengthen cooperation to ensure stable and reliable energy supplies and to explore new areas of collaboration in the hydrocarbon sector.
