Kuwait has successfully facilitated the evacuation and safe passage of around 30,000 travelers stranded due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. Following directives from First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the Ministry of Interior coordinated extensive efforts to ease the entry and transit of travelers through the Abdali border crossing.

Travelers from various nationalities, including Gulf residents, Europeans, and Asians, entered Kuwait by land from Iran and Iraq after air traffic was halted in the region. They were provided seven-day transit visas and, where necessary, humanitarian exceptions to continue their journey via Kuwait Airport or other ports.

Coordination with Gulf embassies ensured buses and vehicles were arranged to transport travelers smoothly, with 40 Kuwaiti buses deployed between Safwan and Abdali ports. The border crossing operated at full capacity, offering all necessary services to travelers, ensuring their safe and organized return home.
