The Embassy of India in Kuwait, in partnership with the Forum of Indian Doctors, held a successful blood donation camp at Adan Hospital on 14 June 2025 to mark World Blood Donor Day.

The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ahmad Abdulwahab Al Awadhi, Minister of Health of Kuwait, alongside Dr. Adarsh Swaika, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, and senior Kuwaiti officials Dr. Reem Al Radwan and Dr. Hanan Al Awadhi. Senior representatives of the Forum of Indian Doctors were also present at the event.

Hundreds of Indian nationals and members of other expatriate communities took part in the drive, highlighting the active role of the Indian diaspora in supporting Kuwait’s healthcare needs.

The Embassy, with strong support from the Indian community, regularly organizes such blood donation camps. In 2024 alone, more than 50 independent drives were conducted by various Indian associations in addition to those organized by the Embassy and the Forum of Indian Doctors.

Beyond healthcare initiatives, the Embassy and the Indian community are equally committed to sustainability and environmental protection, organizing tree planting drives, beach clean-up activities, and similar community service events throughout Kuwait.
