Qatar's Ministry of Interior has announced through its social media platforms that confiscated vehicles will be auctioned from September 14, 2025, at the Vehicle Impoundment Yard on 52nd Street in the Industrial Area. The two-week auction will run daily from 3:15 PM to 6:30 PM, with vehicle inspection opportunities available on the mornings of September 10 and 11 for interested bidders.

The Public Auction Committee has established specific terms for participation, including a QAR 3,000 refundable cash deposit for bidding cards and restrictions on cash payments exceeding QAR 50,000. Successful bidders must make a non-refundable 20 percent down payment immediately, with the full balance required within 24 hours. The committee reserves the right to re-auction vehicles if payments are not completed on time and exclude previous defaulters from participation.

Vehicle owners who have not claimed impounded vehicles within the specified timeframe will lose ownership, with their vehicles sold through these authorized public auctions. All vehicles are sold "as is," requiring bidders to acknowledge they have inspected the lots and accepted their current condition before participating.
