myAster, the omnichannel healthcare platform under Aster DM Healthcare, has expanded its 24/7 express delivery service to four additional emirates beyond Dubai. Residents in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah can now access round-the-clock delivery of prescription medicines, health supplements, beauty products, and wellness essentials through the platform's dedicated express service.
The expansion addresses growing consumer demand for convenient doorstep access to healthcare products, including vitamins, nutritional supplements, skincare items, and mother-and-baby care products. This initiative builds upon the successful adoption of myAster's 60-minute delivery service in Dubai, now scaled to serve multiple emirates.
Nalla Karunanithy, CEO of Digital Health and E-Commerce at Aster DM Healthcare, has stated that the expansion represents more than convenience—it establishes a patient-centered health and wellness ecosystem. Since its July 2022 launch, myAster has become the UAE's first integrated healthcare superapp, recording over 2.8 million downloads and serving more than 2 million users.
The platform has facilitated over 1 million appointment bookings in FY2024 alone, with two-thirds of all physical appointments at Aster facilities now made through the application. The expansion reinforces myAster's transformation from a city-specific service to a nationwide digital health ecosystem offering teleconsultations, lab report management, and chronic condition support alongside product delivery.
