According to statistics from the World Population Review covering 50 nations, Kuwaitis typically sleep from 12:14 AM to 8:01 AM, totaling 375 minutes of daily sleep on average.
The study categorized countries into 11 groups based on sleep duration, ranging from 350 to 450 minutes daily. Kuwait placed in the third category, trailing only Japan (5 hours 52 minutes), Saudi Arabia and South Korea (6 hours 2 minutes each), and the Philippines (6 hours 8 minutes) in sleep deprivation rankings.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, New Zealand recorded the highest average sleep duration at 7 hours 27 minutes, followed by the Netherlands (7 hours 24 minutes), Finland (7 hours 23 minutes), Britain (7 hours 22 minutes), and Australia (7 hours 20 minutes). These findings highlight significant global variations in sleep patterns and rest habits.
