The UAE has dispatched the ‘Life and Hope (2)’ convoy to Gaza, delivering urgently needed medicines, medical devices, and healthcare supplies as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The aid targets critical shortages in Gaza’s hospitals, where reserves are nearly exhausted due to prolonged conflict and blockade. Details were announced at a press conference in Khan Younis’s Nasser Hospital, emphasizing the convoy’s role in mitigating the healthcare crisis.

Dr. Abdulrahman Hamad Al Aryani, Director of the UAE Field Hospital, stated that the shipment includes diverse medical resources to alleviate suffering and bolster the resilience of Gaza’s health sector. Sharif Al-Nairab, Media Director for the operation, reiterated the UAE’s commitment to uninterrupted medical support, noting that health system reinforcement has been a priority since the initiative’s launch.

Dr. Mohammed Zaqout, Director General of Hospitals in Gaza, praised the UAE’s consistent humanitarian efforts, highlighting that the aid arrives as hospitals face critical depletion of essential supplies. The convoy provides lifesaving resources for patients and injured individuals, addressing gaps exacerbated by war and access restrictions.

This effort is part of the UAE’s broader strategy to sustain Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure under extreme duress. By channeling aid through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE reaffirms its dedication to supporting Palestinian civilians and ensuring medical services remain operational despite overwhelming challenges.
