Bahrain Shifts All Postal Services to Hukoomi App from August 28

Bahrain’s Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications has announced that, starting August 28, 2025, all postal services will be accessible exclusively through the Hukoomi app. This move is part of the government’s broader strategy to centralize digital services, enhance user convenience, and accelerate national digital transformation efforts.

Key services available on Hukoomi include renewing P.O. box subscriptions, tracking local and international parcels, calculating shipping costs, locating post offices, and receiving postal notifications. The app aims to provide a seamless, integrated experience for citizens and residents, reducing the need for in-person visits and paperwork.

The Hukoomi app can be downloaded from Bahrain’s official government app store. Users seeking assistance can contact the support helpline at 80008001 or use the Tawasul app for inquiries, feedback, or suggestions regarding the new digital postal system.

This transition underscores Bahrain’s commitment to modernizing public services and improving administrative efficiency.
