Sharjah’s Big Heart Foundation Launches Annual ‘Back to School’ Donation Drive

  • 21/08/2025

The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), a Sharjah-based global humanitarian organization, has launched its annual Back to School campaign to provide educational support for underprivileged children. The initiative invites community members to contribute through donations or hands-on participation at City Centre Al Zahia from August 21–31, where they can assemble school supply boxes personally.

Donors can choose from flexible contribution tiers: a minimum of AED 200 covers a backpack and basic supplies, while AED 500 supports a student for a month, AED 7,000 for a full year, and AED 105,000 funds an entire classroom of 15 students annually. Each option ensures children receive essential resources like notebooks, pens, and water bottles, reducing barriers to education.

The campaign centers around the Big Heart Educational Center, established in 2019 to create safe, empowering learning environments. Alya Obaid Al Musaiebi, Director of TBHF, emphasized that collective action can “make a sustainable difference,” providing tools and nurturing spaces for young minds to thrive.

By blending direct community engagement with structured philanthropy, TBHF reinforces education as a transformative tool for change. The campaign not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters long-term motivation and confidence among students, empowering them to pursue their dreams and potential.
