The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) in Kuwait has issued a warning to users of the "My Identity" app, advising them not to accept authentication requests unless they have personally initiated them.
In an official statement released on Wednesday, PACI emphasized the importance of verifying the authenticity of the request and checking the identity of the service provider before granting approval. This measure is aimed at safeguarding users’ personal data and ensuring secure usage of the app. The authority also highlighted the growing risks of digital fraud and urged the public to be cautious to maintain information security.
